@ben and so does other forks that aren't based in glitch-soc. But if there was plugins, the glitch people could just write plugins and everyone else could pick and choose the plugins they wanted and have it work.
@ben no matter which fork you consider mainline (I prefer florence, currently, although not much work has happened yet), it doesn't change that there's a lot of duplicated work being done in various mastodon codebases.
@zatnosk that'll be easy, then! do you need them in separate image pieces, like one for the blossom and one for the stem and so on? (and I'm assuming trees and rocks are just decorative and don't need to be programmatically processed?)
@zatnosk There are hundreds of posts asking for ways to make changing things easier for mods and server admins. Eugen's response is to learn to code, fork the entire project, and make your own version of Mastodon.
So yeah, truly the whitest techbroest answer possible.
