#WildIdea: An RPG real time combat system, where blocks doesn't happen automatically, but you have a short "bullet time"/slow motion window to press [block button], and the length (i.e. the degree of slowdown) depends on your block-stat; higher blockstat => more time to react to attacks.
If you're dual wielding or dodging, the game could give you the option / opportunity for counterattacking.
Also, go away with 24952 HP. If a sword hits you, and it's not blocked, dodged or mitigated by armor, then you're harmed!
Back in my LARP days we worked with 4 to 6 HP as base (some classes could get up to 5 bonus HP, IIRC), and then 0-5 Armor points depending on the material and coverage of your armor.
One hand weapons did 1 damage, two handed did 2.
If you're an elven archer with no armor, and someone hits you twice with a two handed sword - you're dead. Block, Dodge or Die.
