In danish it's called "crypting" and "decrypting" and I will never stop insisting that it should be called "encrypting"

e.g.
"krypteret"
"enkrypteret"
"dekrypteret"

One is just clearly wrong.

I guess that would double down on being more danish, although I'm unsure how I would interpret "påkrypteret"

@rune I'm sure I'd be able to sell the word to people at DIKU who prefer to call a computer a "datamat" purely to be more danish.

@zatnosk I'm inclined to agree simply because I think this is a word that describes doing/undoing an action. So the base word doesn't carry any meaning.
