Here's an interesting fact: "re:" in a subject line isn't short for "reply" or "regarding". Rather, it's Latin; re is the ablative singular of res, meaning "thing, matter, topic", and the "re:" in your subject line is short for in re, which means "in the matter of" or "with regard to".
