I'm giving the primary combat attribute in my twine dungeon game the name "violence".

If you have 1 point in violence, you can defeat a giant rat. If you have 2 points in violence you might be able to defeat an untrained goblin. etc etc.

Fun fact: the emoji 🆒 and the word "cool" are both four bytes in UTF-8 encoding.

To be specific, I want to be more structured at handling whitespace, and also find an easy way to handle precedence of infix operators (and the occasional prefix and postfix unary operators).

I want to become better at writing parser combinators, but damn it's hard to find anything usable between "dry explanation of basic theory" and "tutorial for this specific library".

To be clear, my parser combinator library of choice is Nom written in Rust.

Fun fact: "le" in my handwriting look very much like "k", and vice versa.
